Sixth, seventh, and eighth graders use a website called NoRedInk.com in our Language Arts classes. NoRedInk is a personalized and adaptive tool that helps learners practice their grammar and writing skills. Learners work with engaging sentences that incorporate their favorite characters, musicians, athletes, books, movies, sports teams, and celebrities.
Using the district scope and sequence and evidence from learner writing, teachers design grammar instruction. Learners receive instant feedback on the grammar skills, and teachers track each learner’s progress. Practice and tutorials are built into NoRedInk to supplement in-class mini-lessons and conferencing around grammar.
To learn more about NoRedInk, watch the video and visit the site. Ask your learner to log in and show you skills and progress.
