We invite incoming sixth graders to SOMS to attend "Welcome Night", a special orientation for incoming 6th graders and their parents on Monday, May 13th.  The school and classrooms will be open to visit from 6:30-7:00 PM.  Our program begins at 7:00 PM in the gym.

This evening provides an opportunity for students and parents to visit Savanna Oaks, meet the sixth grade teachers, and SOMS staff, tour the school, and learn more specifics about middle school.  We will share important information about the sixth grade Upham Woods overnight experience. You will leave this orientation with a clearer idea of what middle school holds and how you can help your child prepare during the summer.

While our orientation program begins at 7:00 PM., we encourage you to arrive by 6:30 PM so you have ample time to visit classrooms, tour the school, and get settled in the gym for the program.  The evening will conclude at 8:00 PM.

Please bring your packets that were emailed to you. We will also have some available that night to complete. English Packet Spanish Packet
